About Me

To love what you do and feel that it matters, how could anything be more fun?
Katherine Graham

This statement truly sums up how I feel about coming to work at Witchcraft each day.  I started here in 1998 as a third grade teacher, and in 2003 I began working as a literacy specialist.  The positive energy of the staff and the wonderful school community are amazing.  As a literacy specialist, I love working with a variety of age groups, and watching their growth as they progress through the years.
Parents often ask how they can best help their children at home.  Here is my quick version of what I believe are the best ways to help.

  • Read! Read! Read! Strive to make it a nightly activity.  It's a great way to quiet the house and end the day peacefully.

  • Eat meals together as much as possible.  This is where some of the best conversations come out and you can really find out what is happening at school.

  • Get a great night of sleep.  NO TV's [or other electronic devices] in the bedroom!  Go to bed with a book instead.

Please do not hesitate to call or email with any questions, comments or concerns!
