This is my second year as a member of the school council. I have been a kindergarten teacher here at WHES for the past seven years.
This is my fourth year as a school council member. As a parent of a fourth grader, and having another child complete her education at WHES, I know that this school has provided my children with a great start.
This is my sixth year as the proud principal of WHES. Of all of my experiences in education, being at the helm of this school continues to be one of the highlights of my 30 year career. I am also the parent of a son at Salem High School, and of a daughter who is a 2004 graduate of SHS who is a sophomore at Brown University.
I am a retired Burlington teacher. I have lived in the neighborhood for 36 years. My four daughters attended Witchcraft and I now have a granddaughter at WHES. My daughter, Linda, is secretary of the P.T.O.
I retired in 2002 after 5 years at Witchcraft and a total of 38 years teaching in Salem. I wish to stay connected to Witchcraft Heights so I joined the council as a community representative.
This is my 5th year at WHES. I started here as an ESL/Sheltered English teacher. Currently, I am teaching 4th grade. This is my first year on the School Council.
Married to David Malionek, we are Salem natives and parents of 3 children in Salem Public Schools, including a child in kindergarten at WHES. I work as a Director of Human Resources for National Direct Marketing Company specializing in fundraising for non-profit organizations.
I have a daughter in the third grade and a son in the first grade. I am an active member with the PTO and have served as a parent representative for the past two years on the school council.
Having spent the last thirteen years of my teaching career as the art teacher at WHES, I feel close to the students, the staff and the principal of the school. On the School Council I serve both as a community member and as a representative for the MCC arts grant in the school.
I am a parent of two boys; a fifth grader and a third grader. My wife, Tammy, is the president of the PTO. This is my sixth year serving on the council.
I have been a school nurse at WHES for twelve years. I love my job! I live in Salem with my husband and three children.
I have lived in Salem all of my married life. I am a reading teacher at WHES. My three older children attended this school, and now three of my grandchildren are here. I completely believe that our WHES students can reach for the stars and achieve their fullest potential!
As a graduate of WHES, I am thrilled to be a parent of a third grader and a pre-schooler here at WHES. I have enjoyed working with the school council for 4 years.
