We are excited to be joining the more than 42,500 other U.S. schools participating in Farm to School activities this school year as we begin our Farm to School journey!

Farm to School is a growing movement that helps communities build stronger local food systems and healthier schools through: sourcing locally produced foods for cafeterias, engaging students in cross-curricular, standards-based food, nutrition and environmental sustainability education, utilizing school gardens as an educational space for hands-on, experiential learning, and encouraging community partnerships and engagement.

The three main components of a farm to school program are:
        1) Local procurement
        2) Education
        3) School gardens
